Two full-time position available with the Aviation Department, Airport Police Division
1 International Square, KCI Airport.
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday- Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Completes background checks. Prepares stop list for lost and/or stolen badges. Checks and updates active files on badge holders and companies responsible for issuing SIDA keys and padlocks. Completes deposit slips
and ledger entries for fees collected, purges files, stocks supplies. Prepares an active badge report on all active badges and distributes to the proper elements. Enters personal data into the system and produces the proper ID badges with the appropriate access permissions. Performs annual audit of all SIDA badges and keys. Handles confidential/sensitive information, audits files quarterly, resolves issues, and maintains files for each employee. Corresponds via email, phone, or directly with Airport Police management, the Airport Security Coordinator, and/or TSA.
REQUIRES high school graduation or GED and 1 year of public or private sector experience in customer service work; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience. Must successfully complete a 10-year FAA background check.
Salary Range: $15.79-23.16/hour.
