Advertising Coordinator/Community Events The Herald and News has an opening in our office for an Advertising Coordinator and Events.
Duties include: Advertising Coordinator: Enter advertising tickets for business advertisers and inserts for the Herald and News. Review ads scheduled for every print edition to make sure ads are cleared to be put in the newspaper. Digital knowledge a plus. Customer Service: Take payments for ads. Set up new advertisers in the system and approve them for payment. Solve customer issues and work with the advertising reps to make sure advertisers’ needs are dealt with and ads run and keep advertising deadlines. Events: Help plan scheduled newspaper events in the community. Help work with sponsors of those events. Answer phones and greet customers working as the backup person for the front office.
