Purchasing Assistant Step Range: 9 ($34,912) – 28 ($61,218) Full-Time Benefits Regular – Full -Time

POSITION OBJECTIVE Under the direction of the Procurement Manager, the Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Purchasing Specialist with issuing purchase orders, attaching supporting documentation and processing them for payment. The Purchasing Assistant will also be responsible for receiving, ordering, and distributing supplies for Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services staff. This position requires someone who can work well as part of a team and work independently with minimal supervision to ensure timely, accurate and efficient workflow in accordance with office policies and standards. Klamath Tribal Health & Family Services is a division of the Klamath Tribes and is responsible for providing healthcare services to the Native American population who reside in Klamath County. Any person living in Klamath County who is able to provide proof of their Native American heritage is eligible to receive healthcare services at The Klamath Tribes Wellness Center.
