Position Title: Administrative Program Specialist
Salary: $3,279 - $3,574 – per month
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is accepting applications for the role of Administrative Program Specialist (Clinic Manager) at the Klamath Falls campus of Oregon Tech. The Administrative Program Specialist (Clinic Manager) works under the direction of the Clinic Director to provide essential managerial support to the Associate Clinic Director, students, and other staff. The Clinic Manager will coordinate daily operations for BIG ABA Clinic.
Duties of this position include: Providing quality customer service, interfacing with patients, doctors’ offices, vendors, and staff Ensuring the clinic follows all legal and regulatory processes for insurance billing and other reimbursement Clinic operations related to day to day management of appointments, phone calls, emails and other inquiries Budget management, scheduling, purchasing, inventory, etc.
Department Information: The Humanities and Social Sciences Department is a dynamic and growing department with a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration. The department offers undergraduate degrees in Applied Psychology and Population Health Management, Graduate degrees in Applied Behavior Analysis and Marriage and Family Therapy, minors in Arts, Letters and Philosophy, Medical Sociology, and Psychology, and a diverse collection of courses in support of Oregon Tech’s general education mission.

Classification Requirements: Two years of experience as an administrative specialist or executive support specialist which included administrative support for a project, program, or operation. Administrative support includes those duties beyond clerical/secretarial such as: interpretation of laws, rules, and regulations; administrative data collection and analysis; and evaluation of projects, processes, and operations; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience. One year of post-secondary education may be substituted for up to one year of the experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical billing. Experience with database management. Two years’ experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with children and/or individuals with disabilities
Additional Requirements: Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite to include Outlook, Office 365, Teams, etc. Able to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality Highly organized with the ability to pivot to new tasks quickly Excellent customer service skills The ability to learn software quickly Special Instructions to Applicant: Initial review of applications will begin on February 13th, 2023.
